Founded in 1987 by John L. Evans, LOCRIS Limited has been providing outstanding support to commerce and industry for over 15 years. With responsibility for £millions in expenditure and the provision of services to thousands of desk-top and mobile PCs, LOCRIS's contribution to ROI from processes and technology has been enormous for our clients and customers:
In 1988 we successfully delivered a multi-site high-speed voice and data network to BACS.
In 1991 we designed and managed the implementation of a multi-point switched transatlantic video conferencing network for Glaxo, the first commercial application of such technology - and just in time for the first Gulf War
In 1993 we designed the organisation and planned the deployment of the UK National Lottery for what became CAMALOT.
In 1994 we managed the very rapid downsizing of a major Life and Pensions provider's branch network from 110 to 65 offices in 6 weeks.
Between 1995 - 97 we managed the relationship between Transco and a major ICT Systems Integrator avoiding of £20M of abortive cost.
In 1997, for the British Standards Institute (BSi) we directed the programme which replaced all servers, upgraded over 4000 desk-tops across 3 sites, replaced the entire network infrastructure, including reproving 8000 outlets, provided new websites and firwalls, enabled BSi's first CRM/online/telesales capability and managed the IT Outsourcing of legacy systems.
In 1998 we directed the euro conversion programme for the Banque of the euro - the most successful redenomination and systems upgrade of its kind.
1999 saw us deploying the global network to support LIFFE CONNECT and designing the organisation to support, maintain and expand it.
Between 1999 - 2001 we worked with a number of retail organisations helping improve systems and reduce costs by negotiating 3rd party contracts at incredible discounts and improve methods and systems.
During 2001/02, working with AT&T EMEA, we reduced the global giant's legal entities in the EMEA region by 50% reducing operational, fiscal and regulatory costs.
In 2003 and 2004 we have worked with major insurance companies reducing professional service and ICT costs and improving methods and systems.
In 2004 we worked with a major provider of outsourced financial / legal services to increase producity and reduce processing costs by 50%.
