IT and Distributed Systems Management and Engineering
LOCRIS Limited have been involved with the management and engineering of operational IT and distributed communications systems since 1977. Our experience is extensive and ranges from specification and design, through installation and commissioning, to acceptance, operation and maintenance. We are able to take a major requirement from concept to implementation, including developing a viable Business Case, Procuring the Solution, Building Teams and Managing the Implementation.

Trouble-shooting
As trouble-shooters LOCRIS are able to resolve problem situations or projects which are off course, returning them to their stated aim with the minimum (necessary) disruption. LOCRIS are experienced in Business Re-engineering, including restructuring and rationalisation to reduce costs and/or improve performance.

Strategy and Futurology
As strategists LOCRIS will advise and guide on the application of IT and new technology, as well as service provision options including Outsourcing and Facilities Management, and the company's procurement expertise includes preparing Requests For Information, Statements Of (Operational) Requirement and Invitations to Tender for buyers, as well as Proposals, Tenders and Bids for suppliers. Programme and Project Management
LOCRIS Programme and Project Management services have been responsible for major rebuild and re-equipping projects, down-sized a large Branch Premises network, implemented distributed IT and communications projects and planned and hired the core team which deployed the UK National Lottery network. LOCRIS designed and implemented one of the most successful euro conversion support programmes whilst, at the same time, developing and implementing a Y2K compliance methodology which resulted in a Blue (satisfactory) status for the organisation concerned (a major investment bank’s London based Global FI&E business).
